Getting started with Timely reports

Bring your reporting to life and take control of your business performance by raising invoices and applying payments in Timely .

To unlock powerful sales reporting, upgrade to the Schedule and Sell plan. Check out our How to change your Timely plan guide.

Timely provides a full range of business, appointment, customer and staff reporting to let you evaluate your business performance. All reports can be easily accessed from the Reports tab.

Running reports

  1. Click the Reports tab in the main menu.
  2. Choose your report from the drop-down list (see below for more information): 

  3. Adjust any available parameters to personalise your report such as a date range (use a preset or specify a date range), staff and location selectors. Other reports may have different filtering options: 

  4. Click View report to see the results.
  5. Click the Print button to print or export the report by clicking the Excel, Word or PDF buttons. The last group buttons are used for navigating reports:
  6. Re-sort the information on the report by clicking a black double-arrow next to the column header you wish to sort by: 

  7. For those reports that use appointment statuses, click the Settings cog: 

  8. Then choose which statuses are used by all of these reports: 

  9. To refresh the report results, click the refresh icon: 

Note: Changes to the report settings (as above) will take 24 hours to be reflected in reports.
