How to edit an issued package

Sometimes things will come up or a situation will change that require you to make an adjustment to an existing package. This guide will cover how to edit an existing package, once it has already been issued to the Customer.

  1. View an existing package
  2. Remove a service from the Package
  3. Adjust the number of visits/minutes/hours on a service
  4. Add or edit the expiry date
  5. Adjust the redemption start and end date
  6. Delete a package

View and/or Edit a Package

There are a couple of places where you can edit a customer's package:

  1. By clicking on the Package in the Calendar sidebar:

  2. From the Customers tab, by clicking on the Package Name in the Packages section:

Once you click on one of these options, the Edit customer package window will pop up.

Remove a service from the Package

To remove a service from the Package:

  1. Click the Edit services link.
  2. Click the red trash can next to the service in the list.

  3. Click Delete when prompted.
  4. Click Save to apply.

Adjust the limit on a service

You can adjust the number of visits/minutes/hours a customer has remaining on their package:

  1. Click the Edit services link.
  2. Next to the service, click the [+] (Increase) or [-] (Decrease) button.
  3. In the Limit field, choose how much to increase/decrease the limit by.

    Note that if a customer has '3' remaining and you want to make the new limit '0', simply decrease the limit by '3'.

  4. Select a Reason for the adjustment.
  5. Click Decrease or Increase to apply.
  6. Click Save to update the Package.

Add or edit the expiry date

  1. From the Edit customer package screen, go to the Validity tab.
  2. If there is currently no restriction, click the +Add link.
  3. Select the number in the left field and the unit from the dropdown.

  4. Check the Send customer an email prior to expiry box is desired.
  5. Click Save to apply changes.

Adjust the redemption start and end date

  1. From the Edit customer package screen, go to the Validity tab.
  2. Enter a Start date for when the package can be redeemed.

  3. Enter an End date for when the package can be redeemed (must be today's date or a future date).
  4. Click Save to apply any changes.

Note: Redemption Start date and End dates(s) only apply if a date has specifically been added here. If you want customers to be able to redeem them at anytime within the expiry period, leave these blank.

Delete a package

If you've issued the wrong package or the customer wants to change the [package they have been issued, then you can remove a Package from a customer's record:

  1. Click on the package in the customer's record
  2. Click the Delete button in the bottom left corner:



  3. Click Delete again to confirm the deletion

Note: Deleting a package won't remove the associated invoice, so you will need to Delete or Edit that invoice separately. Check out our Edit an invoice guide for more information.
