  1. Cross-sell and up-sell options when booking online

    Complimentary treatments ( Like wine for food)

    Having the ability to suggest a treatment that relates to the one they are booking in. Having a manicure and could suggest a pedicure ect.

    • Improve the dashboard graphs

      1. Currently, the bar graph section of Dashboard only shows future dates. Please enable user to view past appointments in bar graph. It would help someone like us to view the performance of the business in one easy glance.

      2. Show YTD figures for comparison

      3. Add the appointment value and appointment counts to the graphs

        Great news, we are starting on the design work for improving the dashboard graphs. Please comment below with any additional suggestions of what you would like to see on the dashboard to help us shape this project.

      • Petty cash deductions

        end of day reconciliation of takings and allow negatives in product sales to record petty cash payments taken out of til. Also need way to be able to use printer with cash drawer AND normal printer for repoirts.

        • Allowing more than one customer to attend an appointment/class

          I run a dancing school whereby parents have been asked to book their childrens' private lessons (services - 15mins, 30 mins, 45 mins, 60 mins) online with Timely.

          At present it is not possible to add more than one customer to each booking.

          This is no good for invoicing of students as the second or third student in the lesson will not receive an invoice and the student/parent that is booking will receive an invoice for the entire lesson, whereas each pupil should receive an invoice for just their share of the lesson.

          I was recommended to make the lesson…

          • Track where staff are using GPS and a Timely mobile app on their phones

            Hello Support,
            Is that possible for Mobile Staff tracking for locations updating to clients.

            Its just Like GPS Tracking to find how far our mobile staff is to get customers location; while they lodged/signed in in system at their smart phone.
            Sure! Call them is the easiest way; But as you can understand that while driving its hard to pick up mobile phone.

            Its just a idea....!

            this function sure can attract many more clients for you and more easy for us to advice that how far is our staff from their location.

            • Ability to refund or reverse payments

              Add the ability to process refunds for payments made against invoices. Deleting the existing payment and invoice removes the record of that transaction, it would be better if this could be kept as part of the customer's sales history.

                  It would be great if there was an option for customer notes in classes to be applied to all classes in a series.

                        I love the new sidebar, something im thinking would be great is if I could create a new customer from the sidebar too, sometimes i get miffed I have to close the calendar to go to the customer tab.

                        • When rebooking the service dropdown could show the most recent services booked first

                          When I go to rebook a client it would be useful if the drop down began with services that client has had before.

                            Products are often a necessary part of a service. It would be nice to add products and services to packages
                            Customers also often buy products for after service care. It would also be helpful if we could put these products into bundles/packages

                              Hairdressers need to have a Processing time eg. Between colours when they can book in additional services such as a cut or put up etc

                                We need to be able to add more than one service to the same invoice ...

                                currently we can only add the one service from the calendar booking... this messes up our accounting later on (Because we have to bill the second service as a product - which it is not)..

                                Clinico and most other platforms give the option to add as many services as we like to the same invoice - regardless of what they're booked in for on the calendar.

                                It seems like it would be a simple fix .. and one that would stop me from moving…

                                • Improve security with two-factor authentication

                                  Your system is ripe for data theft. Any rogue employee can log in from home and the entire database is up for grabs. Or give password to a competitor just before they resign. That competitor could then log in from his own comfy office and manually steal every client we've ever worked for overnight. I could lose my whole business everything overnight.

                                  One solution is to avoid giving employees their Timely password, but then how would they get in at all? There's another solution to this and it's common place with apps like this: two-factor SMS authentication. Mobile phone is…

                                    Thanks Randy, appreciate the frank feedback.

                                    Two-factor authentication is a great idea. However even with two-factor safeguards in place staff who have been given access can still carry out the activities you describe.

                                    Just to confirm: once an employee is no longer employed you can “Archive” them in Timely. This will block their access. You can also remove their login privilege from the staff settings page.

                                    You can also block access to certain parts of Timely by going to Account > User access.

                                    User IP restrictions is something we are planning to add, you can vote for this feature here:

                                    This will block access to Timely outside of your workplace.

                                  • Service times varied by staff member

                                    I have multiple providers performing same service however some need less time than others. I would like to be able to pad time for certain providers. Right now the service times are one size fits all. If I could customize the time per provider the online booking would be more realistic.

                                    • We need a way to see detailed products that were purchased, without having to open the invoice

                                      Currently, in order to see what clients have paid for, you have to click on their profile, sales and then open each invoice to see details. It would be so helpful if the products paid for could be listed right under each invoice under sales...for example: we are currently putting the products they purchase in the reference section so that when we refer back and open a patients account, we can see invoice, status, date, ref (or what was purchased), and amount.

                                      • Copy over existing customers in a recurring class to a new recurring class

                                        currently when creating a new term of recurring classes, existing customers have to added individually to the new term. A feature that allows you add customers from the previous term automatically to the new term as you create the new recurrence would be a massive time saver

                                        • Multiple email reminders for same appointment

                                          I know from experience that it helps me and my clients to have TWO Email Reminders. One email notification at least 1 DAY before the appointment (as a reminder to arrange childcare etc.) AND another at 1-2 HOURS before (to alert us to wrap up what we're doing and get going). Would love that option in Timely.
