  1. Online payments for classes

    Online payments is currently supported for appointments. It is not supported for classes yet. This would be a great addition now that you can raise invoices for classes

    • Barcode scanning for products

      Hello there Timely, we love the fact that now we can do away with a register program and exclusively use yours. I'm a huge fan. We were just wondering, with the new stock control/product feature, can we still use our barcode scanner to put the products into the system for sale? Can't seem to find a way of doing this. Thanking you!

      • Add a credit card surcharge option

        Add a function where we can add an percentage to an invoice depending on payment type. For example add a 4% credit card surcharge

        • Retrieve a previously cancelled appointment

          Right now once an appointment is cancelled we're unable to click on it and undo the cancellation. So lets say we cancel it then a customer calls back and changes their mind. Easy way to bringing it back doesn't seem possible other than redoing the whole appointment all over.

          • Add different categories to the roster for tracking hours worked, holidays etc

            I need to be able to have different entries on the roster which will give a report on working, holidays, sick leave, college etc. The report would ideally give each employees hours based on this information for any given period. This is necessary especially in the case of holidays to calculate holiday pay for different staff memebers

            • Hide pricing on staff calendars

              It's not a matter of keeping customer pricing secret, but keeping it separate. It's not appropriate for pricing to be all over the staff calendar.

              I would have thought that because timely is for both customers and for staff it there would be some settings to separate some of the details for each as the purpose for each is somewhat different.

              Staff is aware pay is not related to what I charge customers but I don't think they should have to have that on their schedule. As it is unrelated.

              • Calendar view to show staff member at all locations

                For example when staff members work at a few different locations during the week, this option would allow the user to view the staff member's appointments at all locations at once, instead of having to view each location's appointments individually.

                • Txt to phone or Email warning when a Message is sent to Timely.

                  Sometimes I don't see a message which is posted to Timely.
                  A Txt to a phone or a Email sent , would then prompt me to check the message section in timely.
                  It can be a problem at night when my reminder SMS is sent out and I am not sitting in front of timely when they reply.

                  • Allow for multiple payment gateways concurrently (encourage lower cost gateways to be used first)

                    Allow for customers to use a range of payment gateways. Our preference is always for customers to use Stripe as it has lower commissions. But some customers want the saftely & convenience of PayPal but that has higher commissions.

                    It would be nice to offer each payment type in order of our preference down the screen.

                      • Alert or warning when booking outside of rostered hours

                        At the moment it is possible to add an appointment to the calendar outside of the staff member's rostered hours. It would be great to have an alert or warning similar to the double-booking alert or the heads up when a staff member isn't rostered on for that day.

                          At the moment it is possible to add multiple appointments for a single customer to an invoice. It would be great to extend this to allow multiple appointments from more than one customer to be added to a single invoice.

                            Adding a customer's title such as Mr or Mrs. This is because when contacting the client, I would like to address them with their proper title.

                              Currently when raising an invoice you can select which staff member to apply it too. This needs to be extended so that you can choose a staff member for each line item.

                                  The two way SMS only allows for confirming appointments, it would be great if clients could cancel also. "Reply Y to confirm, reply X to cancel"

                                  • Add an option that makes padding time appear as available

                                    I use padding time to allow the processing time needed for colours to process before a colour can be booked back in, however this padding time is seen by the booking system as busy, where in fact it is processing time, which is free time. if a client can't book in during these processing times, then this leads to a whole lot (sometimes up to 50%) of unproductive time that clients can't be booked into unless they actually call and speak to one of the staff. Padding time should have the option to be set as "busy" or "free"

                                    • Assigning clients to specific staff, so client can only be viewed on assigned staff login and administrators

                                      As I have several staff, whom essentially have there own clients, it would be great if staff could only view "their" clients/assigned clients. This is for staff management/auditing/analysis/privacy reasons. Similar to how visibility of calendars can be access adjusted

                                      • Print Customer appointment on receipt printer

                                        It would be great to have an option to print the customers appointment details from the receipt printer when they make an appointment. This could include quite a few things like business name and address, email, phone number plus appointment details and even a QR code to add to calendar on their mobile device.

                                        • Please increase the visual contrast between rostered on/off hours in day calendar view.

                                          In Day view, the visual contrast between rostered on/off times are not clear enough.

                                          Currently it is quite difficult to see the start-finish times of individual staff members in 'day' calendar view at a glance. Higher contrast would fix this. Thanks!
