  1. Improve the dashboard graphs

    1. Currently, the bar graph section of Dashboard only shows future dates. Please enable user to view past appointments in bar graph. It would help someone like us to view the performance of the business in one easy glance.

    2. Show YTD figures for comparison

    3. Add the appointment value and appointment counts to the graphs

    • Allowing more than one customer to attend an appointment/class

      I run a dancing school whereby parents have been asked to book their childrens' private lessons (services - 15mins, 30 mins, 45 mins, 60 mins) online with Timely.

      At present it is not possible to add more than one customer to each booking.

      This is no good for invoicing of students as the second or third student in the lesson will not receive an invoice and the student/parent that is booking will receive an invoice for the entire lesson, whereas each pupil should receive an invoice for just their share of the lesson.

      I was recommended to make the lesson…

      • Ability to refund or reverse payments

        Add the ability to process refunds for payments made against invoices. Deleting the existing payment and invoice removes the record of that transaction, it would be better if this could be kept as part of the customer's sales history.

        • Improve security with two-factor authentication

          Your system is ripe for data theft. Any rogue employee can log in from home and the entire database is up for grabs. Or give password to a competitor just before they resign. That competitor could then log in from his own comfy office and manually steal every client we've ever worked for overnight. I could lose my whole business everything overnight.

          One solution is to avoid giving employees their Timely password, but then how would they get in at all? There's another solution to this and it's common place with apps like this: two-factor SMS authentication. Mobile phone is…

            Thanks Randy, appreciate the frank feedback.

            Two-factor authentication is a great idea. However even with two-factor safeguards in place staff who have been given access can still carry out the activities you describe.

            Just to confirm: once an employee is no longer employed you can “Archive” them in Timely. This will block their access. You can also remove their login privilege from the staff settings page.

            You can also block access to certain parts of Timely by going to Account > User access.

            User IP restrictions is something we are planning to add, you can vote for this feature here:

            This will block access to Timely outside of your workplace.

          • Allow customers to be segmented for SMS marketing

              Oh my gosh - I LOVE the new packages feature. It is really fantastic! Perfection would be if you could add classes to the feature. Will this be possible?

              • Allow us to add more than one service to a single invoice

                We need to be able to add more than one service to the same invoice ...

                currently we can only add the one service from the calendar booking... this messes up our accounting later on (Because we have to bill the second service as a product - which it is not)..

                Clinico and most other platforms give the option to add as many services as we like to the same invoice - regardless of what they're booked in for on the calendar.

                It seems like it would be a simple fix .. and one that would stop me from moving…

                    • Provide a cascading drop down for product selection

                      Many times listing multiple offerings are confusing for customers but providing a cascading drop down makes it a better user experience in selecting their product or service

                        Hairdressers need to have a Processing time eg. Between colours when they can book in additional services such as a cut or put up etc

                        • Redeeming a visit in a package for a no-show

                          Currently if a person doesn't show up to an appointment that has been scheduled as part of a package when you make it a "No Show" it doesn't redeem a visit. You have to either:

                          - Make the appointment "complete" and add a note saying they didn't show

                          or

                          - Make it a no show and manually adjust the visit limit in the packages under the customer. There is no way to manually redeem a visit you can only reduce the total limit of visits available under the package

                            We routinely purchased teat and coffee supplies for our customers and need a way to record the payout from the til.

                            • We need a way to see detailed products that were purchased, without having to open the invoice

                              Currently, in order to see what clients have paid for, you have to click on their profile, sales and then open each invoice to see details. It would be so helpful if the products paid for could be listed right under each invoice under sales...for example: we are currently putting the products they purchase in the reference section so that when we refer back and open a patients account, we can see invoice, status, date, ref (or what was purchased), and amount.

                              • Share packages between family members

                                We're super excited to now have package support. Of course, the first two people that bought packages want to share the packages with family members. As a work around, we apply the package to the package owner and then manually go in and deduct when a family member uses another. It would be nice if one could apply a package to family member, but this becomes a whole lot more complicated.

                                  Being able to send an e-mail to everyone confirmed in a class. At the moment the only option is to export the list to Excel and copy and paste the e-mail addresses.

                                    When we want to look at what customers have not returned for consultations it would be great if we could look it in month order rather then name order. Eg; we want to check who has not returned since last appt in Jan 2015. Alll other info is great except being able to get it in date order would be fantastic

                                    • Allow a function for creating Receipts, rather than just calling it 'Invoices'

                                      Would be good if, once paid, the Invoice could be called a Receipt. It seems strange sending an invoice statement once its fully paid, when its actually a receipt.

                                        Also have you seen the customer statement? You can get to it from Customers > [Search] > Print statement

                                        That might help you in the short-term.

                                        • When "any service" package option selected, allow a group of specific services to be selected

                                          2 things.

                                          1) I also need more than 99 minutes for my packages. I need this added feature ASAP.

                                          2) you should be able to select specific services that a "any service" package can be used, so it would be like creating a subgroup of similar services that someone could use as they wish. The problem with "any service" without any specification allows my customers to potentially redeem the package for LITERALLY anything, instead of a small set of similar services. being able to say "any service" from similar services that I select would be fantastic.
