  1. Add an option that makes padding time appear as available

    I use padding time to allow the processing time needed for colours to process before a colour can be booked back in, however this padding time is seen by the booking system as busy, where in fact it is processing time, which is free time. if a client can't book in during these processing times, then this leads to a whole lot (sometimes up to 50%) of unproductive time that clients can't be booked into unless they actually call and speak to one of the staff. Padding time should have the option to be set as "busy" or "free"

    • Calendar view to show staff member at all locations

      For example when staff members work at a few different locations during the week, this option would allow the user to view the staff member's appointments at all locations at once, instead of having to view each location's appointments individually.

      • Online payments for classes

        Online payments is currently supported for appointments. It is not supported for classes yet. This would be a great addition now that you can raise invoices for classes

          • Attribute staff member by invoice line item rather than overall invoice

            Currently when raising an invoice you can select which staff member to apply it too. This needs to be extended so that you can choose a staff member for each line item.

              Having more fine grained control of user access for staff members and administrators by allowing them access to areas within sub sections of Settings and Account etc. Including allowing staff members to update their own roster but not other staff member's, allowing administrators access to only a specific location and giving additional staff members access to account holder settings.

              • Create invoices from the mobile version

                I would like to see an invoiing option within the Mobile Version. I own a Carpet Cleaning firm and my customers require a paid receipt immediately they pay me or my techs at the point of payment which is obviously in the field. This is vitally important to have this option implemented for anyone who works in the field with the same requirements

                • Indicate who cancelled an appointment and what the cancellation reason was

                  There should be a way to determine who it was that cancelled an appointment.

                  We ran into a situation where appointments were mysteriously cancelled, but the clients showed up, and staff couldn't figure out what happened to the appointments.

                  As it turned out, the appointments were cancelled the night before the appointment by a staff member unfamiliar with the system, but we wasted a few hours trying to figure this out by process of elimination.

                  It would be much easier if the cancellation would explicitly say somewhere who cancelled the appointment (the client or named staff member).

                  • Allowing pencilled-in appointments with unpaid invoices to not affect availability

                    It would be great if there were an advanced option that allowed pencilled-in appointments to not affect availability. We would ideally use this option so that if an invoice remained unpaid, another client could book that service during that time slot. This would ensure we do not have wasted time slots by clients who do not want to pay. When invoices were paid it would automatically affect availability so that the appointment was confirmed.

                    • Single click to email all invoices to customers

                      To be able to send all invoices to customers by selecting the relevant invoices you want to send to customers. These then auto send to customers email addresses.

                      It would be really useful as we invoice on a monthly basis and we have a lot of clicking to do otherwise.

                        Our staff earn commission based on targets. We need to see their actual sales totals to be able to calculate this. The present business reports and sales reports include other statuses which gives a false total. Also in some cases 2 stylists would provide the service for a client e.g colour then cut, but the sales report defaults to the main stylist. We need a report that shows the exact services done by each stylist for any given client.

                          Good news! Improved commission reporting is now on our radar.

                          Our intention is to make commission amounts configurable by staff/service/products and have this flow into a new report.

                        • Block customers from making bookings

                          Today was Mothers day and we had a couple of no shows... annoying i know but they seem to be the same clients always making a bookings and not showing. Would be good to block or ban these customers from making bookings, and forcing them to call. Or forcing them to pay when booking. Thanks, Harley

                            • Allow customers to book into different price brackets for classes, eg. General, Student, Pensioner Price

                              When inputting a class into Timely, it would be great to have the option of selecting "Price:" > "varies" then adding different tiers of class prices that the customer can select from.

                              We offer student, pensioner and "bring a friend" discounts. It would be great to offer support for these types of bookings and online payments.

                                Clients always need to be sent their bookings at random times, so d like to be able to click on their booking then be able to click on a button to email them a ical file of their appt

                                  A simple yet powerful marketing option, is a drop down menu in the end of the booking page, that ask the customers: Where did you find us?

                                  Same as you guys on Timely uses on payment site.

                                    When raising an invoice for a recurring appointment add an option to automatically add all appointments in the recurrence to the invoice.

                                      At the moment you can only make a booking with more than one service if one staff member can perform all of these services. It would be great if you could book an appointment online with multiple services that involved more than one staff member, just like you can manually from the calendar.

                                        We have to print day sheets every day for our 3 mobile members of staff and it would be much easier if:
                                        a) pressing print went directly to a print dialogue and the day sheet didn't need to be downloaded as a pdf. This takes longer and you end up with lots of pdf's!
                                        b) If there was an option to print a view more similar to that you see on the screen. This would enable staff to at a glance see how their day was structured.

                                          Id like to suggest adding processing time to services ie. 1/2 head of foils takes 45 min to do and has a processing time of 45 mins before the next service can be performed, if this is set in place, the client can book the colour and cut online without having to know how long she needs to process!

                                            Padding time (which can be setup when editing a service) should be able to help in this situation.

                                            Once you’ve added padding time to services you can make the system add gaps between services automatically by going to Settings > General settings > Calendar and appointment settings and ticking “Add service padding times between multi-service appointments”

                                            You can still add other appointments in the gaps although you will get a warning that the appointment you are adding may clash with the padding time on other services.
