In this guide you will learn how to set up online bookings in Facebook Messenger. When your clients message your page, it's useful to get your booking link in front of them right away; as this maximises the likelihood that they will make a booking with your business. You can also set up FAQs for Facebook Messenger using your Timely online booking link.
Step-by-step instructions
1 Head to your Facebook business page and click meta business suite.
2 Next choose inbox from the left hand side menu.
3 Next click the button labeled automations > create automation.
4 Choose one of the available templated automations or click start from scratch.

If you choose to use the FAQ template, make sure you toggle frequently asked questions to on, and click edit automation. On this page, you can edit the wording of your FAQs, and add as many as you would like to have for your business.

If you'd like to add your online booking button, which we strongly recommend, you can find your online booking link from your Timely dashboard by going to setup > booking buttons.

Once you've added everything you'd like to, customised to your business, you can click save changes to apply your edits.
