Moving over from your Appointment Book can be quite daunting, but like most things in life we find the best approach is just to get started.
This guide will take you through how to transition over from your appointment book, step by step. We'll cover:

Getting started
To get you started we recommend you follow these steps:
- Get used to how Timely looks with our Getting started with Timely guide, this will help you find your way around and help you familiarise yourself with Timely
- Set up yourself, your staff and your profiles: How to add staff
- Set up your services: How to Add Services and Categorise them in a way that makes sense!
- Now that you have Staff and Services in Timely, you can Create Appointments in the Calendar
- And you can learn how to raise sales in Timely: How to Raise a Sale

Transitioning over
Next you can start moving your bookings in to your Timely calendar from your Appointment Book:
- We recommend that you start by entering the next two weeks of your appointments from your Appointment Book in to your Timely Calendar
- As you get new bookings or rebookings, check your Appointment Book for your availability so you don't double book
- Book that appointment in to your Timely Calendar
- You'll be running your Appointment Book and your Timely Calendar alongside each other for a little while
- Then at the end of each week add another weeks appointments in to your Timely Calendar, for example: at the end of Week 1 add Week 3's appointments into Timely
- Repeat this process until Week 6, by then the majority of appointments will only be in Timely, and you can review the rest of your Appointment Book and add the remaining appointments in to the Timely Calendar
