Edit or cancel appointments in the iOS app

Note: To make sure you get the very best app experience, you'll need to have the latest version of IOS installed on your phone or iPad. 

You can easily edit, reschedule or cancel your existing appointments via the Timely iOS app. As we're introducing some touch gestures into the mix, you'll find that some actions are a little different.

In this guide we'll cover how to do the following on the iOS app:

1. Edit an existing appointment.
2. Reschedule an appointment.
3. Cancel an appointment.

Edit an existing appointment

To edit an appointment:

1. Tap the appointment in the Calendar.
2. When the appointment details come up, tap Edit in the top right corner:
   
3. This will take you back to the appointment editing screen where you can make any changes.
4. Just tap Save when you're ready to update the appointment.

Appointments can also be moved by tapping on the appointment, then by holding the appointment and dragging them into a new time slot, just release your finger to 'drop' the appointment in the new time. Give it a try!

 

Reschedule an to a new time appointment

If you want to move an appointment to a new week, or a couple of months in advance, you can use the

Reschedule

 function to easily move the appointment.

1. Tap the appointment in the Calendar.
2. Click Reschedule in the appointment information pop up:
3. This will take you back to the calendar, with a banner at the top to Select a day and time.
4. Once you have navigated to the desired date/time, click on the slot in the Calendar to move the appointment:

Cancel an appointment

1. Tap the appointment in the calendar.
2. In the appointment pop up, click the red ' Cancel' option:
   
3. Select the reason from the list, and hit Save:
   
4. The appointment will then be removed from the calendar.
