In this guide you will learn how to manually send consultation forms to your clients, saving valuable time by eliminating time required in store to complete providing you with their details. With this in mind, Timely allows you to send digital consultation forms to your clients to complete before (or even after) their appointment. Consult’s customisable forms helps you streamline your business, protect your brand and deliver an exceptional client experience.
Timely tip: Before sending a consultation form, we recommend you see our help guide on How to create your own consultation. Once you've created your consultation, don't forget to share it with your business so you can send it to clients! Consultations are sent as an ad hoc SMS message and use SMS credits from your monthly allowance.
Important note: Make sure to double check you do not have duplicate customers before sending consultation forms. Our help guide How to merge duplicate customers will walk you through how to do this. As Timely uses your client's SMS details to log them in and connect to their records, if you have multiple clients with the same SMS number we'll use the details that have the most recent booking made.

Timely note: If you're unable to see your consultations here, check that you've shared them with your business. See our help guide How to Share a Consult Form with your Business for steps on how to do this. If you haven't shared or created your own consultations, you'll be able to send one of our industry-standard consultations.
How to view a submitted consultation
Before viewing a consultation, your client needs to have submitted the consultation. When a client is still in the draft phase of completing their consultation form, you will not be able to view their progress, only onec they submit their consultation will you have access to their responses.
