Invoicing is an important part of running a business, whether this occurs in advance of an appointment to ensure revenue protection or for your client to pay later on when they are out of the salon. With Timely, you can create invoices for appointments, classes, products and packages. Once an invoice has been raised, there are a number of different ways in which you can share this with the customer. In this article, you will learn how to send and print invoices.
How to email an invoice

Head to setup from the main menu in your Timely account dashboard, and head to your invoices. From here click on the invoice you wish to view.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the email invoice button. In the pop up, confirm or enter the client's email address you'd like to send the invoice to.

You can also enter a message if you require. When you have done this, click send to send a copy of the invoice to the customer.
How to print an invoice
There are a couple of places you can print an invoice from:
- From the sales tab, by locating the invoice in the list and clicking the print button.
- While viewing the invoice, by clicking the print button at the bottom left of the page.
