In 2024, Xero is implementing a new requirement for customers wishing to use the Xero x Timely integration. From 26 March 2024, all customers using Xero and Timely together will need to protect their account with Two Factor Authentication (2FA). If you do not setup 2FA before 26 March your Timely transactions will no longer sync to Xero.
What is 2FA?
2FA is a security setting that uses your mobile phone to secure your account. Each 30 days, or whenever you log into Timely from a new device, you will be asked to enter a 6 digit code that we will send to your mobile phone. 2FA is considered to be among the most secure ways to protect your account and is considered industry best practice for guarding against scams and digital attacks.
