You've set up your terminal, connected it to Timely and now you're ready to take your first payment! Choose which device you use to take a payment in-salon.

Step-by-step instructions
1 Tap the client's appointment in the calendar and select Checkout.
2 Check the services are right, and add any extras to your client's invoice.
3 Click the Checkout.
4 You can alter the amount to charge the client in the amount box at the top of the screen. This is perfect for those times that you need to do a split or partial payment across multiple cards or payment types.
5 Select the terminal.
6 This will connect to the terminal which will then beep and light up with the amount ready for the client to tap/swipe/insert their card.
7 Mini terminals will appear with a series of letters and numbers.
8 The mini terminal will beep and light up with a green approved tick.
9 On Timely, tap Done.
10 Once you see the sale complete screen, your sale is all done and dusted! You can then select the Email receipt button to send the client a copy of the receipt or close the sale by selecting Done.
