You've set up your terminal, connected it to Timely and now you're ready to take your first payment! Choose which device you use to take a payment in-salon.

Step-by-step instructions
1 Tap the client's appointment in the calendar and select Checkout.
2 Check the services are right, and add any extras to your client's invoice.
3 Tap Checkout.
4 Your terminal will appear as a payment option. Select Take card payment.
5 Confirm the total is correct, then click Process payment.
You can alter the amount to charge the client in the amount box at the top of the screen. This is perfect for those times that you need to do a split or partial payment across multiple cards or payment types.
6 Now use the card reader to take the payment from your client.
7 A green tick will appear on the terminal when the payment has been accepted.
8 On Timely, tap Done.
9 Once you see the Sale complete screen, your sale is all done and dusted! You can then select the Email receipt button to send the client a copy of the receipt or close the sale by selecting Done.
