If you are looking to set up a barcode scanner to make managing and selling your retail products a breeze, you are able to do so with Timely. In this article, you will learn how to set up the SocketMobile scanner for your iOS device.

Start by making sure the scanner is on. Press and hold the power button until the LED light turns blue, it should then beep twice.

Your SocketMobile barcode scanner has now been turned on. For use with your iOS device, you will need to set the scanner to iOS mode. To enable this, scan the barcode below. The scanner will then beep three times to confirm the mode change.

Head to your iPad or iPhone Settings to open the settings app, and click on Bluetooth settings, then turn your Bluetooth ON.

Your iOS device will now search for available devices to connect with, when it locates the barcode scanner, Socket CHS, click to connect the two devices.

To test that the scanner is working correctly, open the Timely app and scan a product barcode that has already been added in Timely. Scanning one of these products should automatically add it to your sell screen.
