How to manage new packages in Timely iOS app

Designed to help you maximise revenue and build client loyalty, packages allow you to bundle services and offer exclusive deals. Creating custom packages help you grow your business, and gain valuable insights into what your clients love. When a package is sold, the value is correctly tracked as a business liability. It's only recognised as revenue in your reports when a service is redeemed, giving you a true picture of your finances. In this guide, you will learn how to manage Timely packages (new) in the iOS app.

 

The Timely iOS app currently supports following new packages functionalities:

  • Booking & selling an appointment with a package service
  • Redeeming an appointment with a package service

How to book an appointment with a package service

1 Start by clicking on the service section in the create appointment modal. All packages available for the customer will be listed on the top of the list of services in the select service pop up.

 

2 Select the required package service for the appointment and save the appointment, then complete the booking. An icon will be indicating that the appointment contains a package service.

 

 

How to redeem a package upon completing a booking

1 Start by clicking on the completed appointment and select raise sale from the pop up.

 

2 You will be taken to the checkout screen with the package service added to the sale. The amount to be charged will be zero since it's a package service that's been paid for already.

 

3 From here, click pay to proceed, then complete the sale. The remaining services count under that package will also be displayed for your reference.

 

4 The booking will now display additional icons to indicate the appointment has been completed and paid for.
