Sometimes you may need to update your details of your client's appointment after they've arrived. This could be because another staff member performed the service, the price is different from the one showing, or you want to add a discount. With Timely, you can do this all in the same place when you checkout your client. In this guide, you will learn how to update a sale during checkout.
How to update a sale during checkout

Start by clicking on the appointment to update, and then choosing checkout.

To change who performed the service, click on the service.Here you can also update:
- The service description
- The price
- The discount
- Who performed the service

These changes will automatically be updated on your calendar. If you don't want that to happen, uncheck the box. Then, when you are ready click save.

You will see the updated price. The total cost of the sale is on the checkout button. If this is right, click on checkout then follow the typical checkout process.

The appointment will have now moved to the correct place. The icons on the booking will show the appointment is complete and the invoice is paid.
