When your client has had their service completed, it is time to take them through to checkout to make payment. In this article, you will learn how to checkout your client after their appointment. Step-by-step instructions

Start by clicking on the client's booking > completed and then on > checkout. If there are no additional services or extras to be added to the sale, and the client is only paying for the booked service, proceed to the next step.

Next, ask how your client wants to pay.
Timely note: any payments you choose which are in the grey box are for record-keeping purposes only and will need to be physically processed through a credit card terminal, cash, gift voucher, or internet banking. TimelyPay is the only payment method that physically initiates a transaction within Timely. For more information, see our help guide Introduction: TimelyPay.

Confirm the payment is accepted and click tap to complete. From here, you can view the invoice, print a receipt, or email the receipt to the client. This is also a great opportunity to get your client to rebook. You can see if they've got an upcoming appointment or rebook them from here.

When you are ready, click done to complete the transaction. The client's booking is now greyed out. You can see a tick icon to show the booking is finished, and a dollar icon to show the invoice is paid.
