Your clients may reach out at times with questions about their appointment time, maybe they have lost their email confirmation or it is a while until the scheduled confirmation reminder is to be sent to their phone. In these instances, you can easily share their appointment details with them.
In our Timely iOS app we have two ways to do this, either by SMS or by printing out the details. In this article, you will learn how to give your client access to their appointment details.
How to send clients an SMS with their appointment details
If your client requests their appointment details in advance of when your scheduled confirmation reminder text is due to go out to them, you can manually send one effortlessly. To do this:
Timely note: you will be able to amend the details of the message if you would like to add or remove any details. The character count will let you know how much space you have left in the message. If you client has a long name, or if the service has a lot of characters you may need to edit the message to be shorter.
How to print a client their appointment details in-salon
If your client has come into the salon to ask for their appointment details, you can print these off for them then and there. If you have a thermal printer connected to your iOS device, this is an easy process.
Timely tip: if you do not yet have a thermal receipt printer, you can also write their details down for them. Some Timely customers have found it useful to design and print business cards, with space for appointment details to be written. This also acts as a subtle marketing strategy too!
