The world is experiencing rising costs, and we're feeling it too. We've delayed this adjustment in the UK for as long as we could. Our goal has been to make the increase as small as possible.
FAQs
Does this price increase affect me?
This change will affect all UK customers who joined Timely on or before 31 December 2023. Customers who activated between 1 January - 3 May 2024 will have their prices increased from 4 August.
How much is my plan increasing by?
Your increase will depend on which plan you are on and how many bookable staff you have on your team. Please refer to the table above to see exactly how your fee will change.
Why is the price increase happening now?
It's been a while since we adjusted our UK prices – the last time was back in 2019 when we repackaged our plans and added in SMS to the base cost. Between 2021 and 2022, we phased out annual plans, leading to a minor price increase. Last year, we adjusted our prices in Australia and New Zealand to align with the market.
Due to rising costs, we're making a small adjustment to ensure we can keep offering the high-quality service you expect. That's why we're updating our UK prices now.
When does the new pricing come into effect?
Your new pricing starts on 4 May 2024 and will apply from your next billing cycle. So, if you're usually billed on the 9th, you'll see the new rates on 9 May.
How much notice have you given us before the price increase comes into effect?
We’ve provided all customers with 30 days’ notice prior to pricing changes. This complies with our terms and conditions of sale.
I’m on a Basic plan or Tailored pricing, does this apply to me?
This change won't impact Basic or Tailored plans for now. If you have a Tailored plan, we'll reach out during our regular reviews to talk about any possible pricing updates.
I signed up to Timely on or after 1 January 2024, does the price increase apply to me?
This price increase applies if you joined Timely on or before 31 December 2023. If you signed up between 1 January and 3 May 2024, your new rates start from 4 August. By 4th August, all UK customers will be on the same pricing structure.
Can I change the plan I’m currently on, or move to another plan?
Absolutely! Timely’s monthly plans offer you the flexibility to adapt as your business grows. You can easily upgrade or downgrade your plan directly in Timely. Just head to: Settings > Account > Billing and click on "Change package."
Does this affect any of the features that are in my current plan?
No, all your current plan features will stay the same. Only the price of your plan is changing.
Does this have any impact on the price of Direct Phone Support?
No, the price for Direct Phone Support remains the same. It continues to be an optional add-on for any Timely plan at £20 a month.
I'm trialling Timely at the moment, am I affected?
If you activate your Timely account before the 3rd May, you'll enjoy the current pricing until 4th August. After that, your plan will switch to the new pricing. Don't worry, we'll give you another reminder before any changes take effect in your account.
I’m a current Timely customer, but I’m currently trialling a higher plan, how does this price increase affect me?
During your trial, there's no extra cost to test out a higher plan. After the trial ends, whether you choose to upgrade or return to your original plan, the new prices will be in effect.
My account is currently on hold
You won’t be charged while your account is on hold. Once you reactivate, the new pricing rates will apply.
