Connect your terminal to Wifi

You've charged your terminal and now it's time to connect it to WiFi. Just follow the steps below.

 

 

Before you start

  • Make sure that your wifi networks is WPA-Personal or WPA2-Personal and password protected.
  • If your wifi is on an enterprise network or doesn't use a password, the terminal cannot connect to your wifi.

 

Step-by-step instructions

1 Unplug it from the charger and hold down the power button located on the right side of the terminal to turn it on. Then follow the onscreen instructions.touchscreen turn on.png

 

2 Follow the onscreen instructions. Click Connect your wifi

3 Choose the same Wifi network as you use with Timely.

3 Put in your password.

4 Select your language.

 

5 Select your country.

 

6 It might ask you to update to the latest software. So, click Update.

7 This will take a few minutes and your terminal will switch itself off and on again.

8 Done! A three word Registration Code will appear on-screen.

9 Now you're ready to connect it to your Timely account.

 

Why isn't my terminal connecting to wifi?

Make sure that your wifi networks is WPA-Personal or WPA2-Personal and password protected.

If your wifi is on an enterprise network or doesn't use a password, the terminal cannot connect to your wifi.
