How do I turn Google Pay and Apple Pay on for my clients?
Nothing for you to do! Apple Pay and Google Pay are available automatically to your clients when they are paying for a deposit, purchasing a gift voucher or saving their card online.
How do I turn Google Pay and Apple pay off for my clients?
These payment methods are options that your clients can choose from. Some clients might prefer using Apple Pay and Google Pay as their way of paying over entering their physical card details.
Can I report on who uses Google Pay and Apple Pay?
Unfortunately, not at the moment. This may become available in the future.
Does Google Pay and Apple Pay work with card capture?
Yes, on top of providing their card details as before, clients can save their card on file through Apple Pay or Google Pay. It will be mandatory if you have card capture enabled, or optional if you don’t require clients to save the card.
What countries are Google Pay and Apple Pay available?
All countries where TimelyPay is currently available (AU, NZ, UK, US, EU countries)
Do my clients need to be signed into their web browser for Google Pay and Apple Pay to work?
No, clients don’t need to be logged in to use Google Pay or Apple Pay at booking payment. However to save a card on file for card capture, they’ll need to be logged in.
What happens if a client already has a stored card? Will they still have the option of switching to Google Pay and Apple Pay?
Yes, they will. Same as with just replacing their currently saved card.
If the client's card gets changed on Apple pay or Google Pay it won't be reflected on their saved cards list unless they save it as a new one on the next booking or update their card detail.
Will payment links sent out to clients also have Google Pay and Apple Pay on them?
Yes, they will.
Are these payment methods supported on all web browsers?
Firefox currently doesn’t support Apple Pay however all other browsers support these payment methods.
