How to add and match a supplier

Adding your suppliers in Timely allows you to order and keep track of your products directly from your account, making this a seamless part of running your business. In this guide, you will learn how to add and match a supplier. 
 

Timely note: this feature is only available to businesses on our Elevate and Innovate plans. For more information on viewing your current plan, see our help guide How to view your Timely plan. How to add a supplier

1 To add a supplier, head to setup > suppliers from the main menu.

 

2 Next click add a supplier, and enter the details of the supplier, and hit save.


Once a supplier is added, it will show in the main list of suppliers. Here you can see how many products are matched to that supplier, and how many stock orders have been created for it. Suppliers can be edited or deleted from this page too. If a supplier is deleted, any connection with products will be broken.

 

 

How to match a product to a supplier

1 To match a product to a supplier, head to setup > suppliers from the main menu.

 

2 Next click edit under the 3 dots next to the product.

 

3 Choose the supplier from the drop-down menu and when you are ready, click save.

 

Timely note: products can only be matched to one supplier.
