Creating custom packages help you grow your business, and gain valuable insights into what your clients love. In this guide, you will learn how to use packages on the Timely iOS app.

How to sell or issue a package from the Timely iOS app

Start by adding the client you want to issue the package to, to the sale.

Then click on the packages option in the left-hand panel, and select the package you want to add to the sale.

The default settings will be added automatically. If no default limit has been assigned, you can click specify limit. Click on the type to select the limit you want to apply, then choose the quantity underneath to add further visits/minutes/hours.

Select the redemption start date and/or redemption end date to add redemption restrictions. Set the expires after date and toggle the restriction to ON, to add an expiry period.

Click save to apply expiry and then save again to add it to the sale.

When you are ready, you can apply a payment and complete the sale.
How to book a package from a client's profile via the Timely iOS app

Head to the customers tab, and search for the client and open their record.

In the other fields section, the number of available packages will be shown. Click on the available package button to open a list of available packages. Then click book now next to the package you would like to book.

You will be taken to the calendar, where you can select a time for the new booking. The service will be pre-loaded and you can add any additional services or make any changes.

When you are ready, click save to complete the process.
How to redeem a package via the Timely iOS app

Click on the appointment in the calendar to view the appointment details.

Then on current appointment status, click the completed option from the list. If any packages are available, an arrow will be shown.

Select which package you would like to redeem from the available packages, and then click the redeem button.

A package icon will be added to the appointment in the calendar and a package redeemed indicator will be shown underneath the service.
Timely note: redeeming packages for classes in the iOS app is not available.
