You may find that certain services and appointments will require specific resources; such as furniture, room type, equipment, or products etc. To ensure these resources are not double booked, you can create and assign these resources to the relevant services and appointments. In this guide, you will learn how to assign resources to services.
How to assign resources to services

Head to setup from the main menu in your Timely account dashboard, and click on services.

Click edit next to the service that needs a resource.

Scroll down to the resources section. Select requires one resource and choose all the resources that the service will be using.

When you are ready, click save to apply your changes.
Timely notes:
- You can reorder the resources into your preferred order of selection when that service is being booked online. This order will take effect when clients book that service online, so resources will be assigned to that service in the order you select (provided they're available).
- To maximise the booking potential of your rooms and resources, select the resource that is the most generally used. To ensure the lower value service is not booked in there first, choose the higher value resource first.
