If you have decided to move to another country, and your business is going along with you; we hope you are taking your Timely account along for the ride. In this guide, you will learn how to move country while still keeping your Timely account. There are 3 steps to follow in this guide, to prepare you for your big move!
Timely note: if you have TimelyPay set up but need to change your currency then you will need to disconnect TimelyPay first.
Step One: Get in touch with us early!
If you are planning on moving your business to another country you need to inform us in plenty of time. This is because we need to make sure your billing details are updated to suit the new country. Please get in touch with our friendly support team by submitting a Help Form in our Help Centre with the following information:
- The end date in your current country.
- The country you're moving to.
- The start date of your business in the new country.
- Also let us know if you will be needing a payment holiday in between these two dates.
Step Two: Update your business details
Seeing as you are going to be in a new country, many of your business details will change. Here is a list of the most important things to update - these can be found under the setup > business details menu:
- Business name
- Business website
- Country name
- Country currency
- Country timezone
- Locations
- Contact details
- Staff and/or administrators
Step Three: Update your billing details
Now that you've moved countries and switched to the appropriate billing currency, you will need to update your billing and credit card details. You can do so in the billing section of your account. See our help guide How to update your billing details for more information.
