Timely's PIN switching feature on iOS enables you and your staff to quickly switch between users, without the need for emails and passwords. How to use PIN switching on your iOS device
Pin switching on your iPad or iPhone works the same way as on the web version of Timely in that you need to login with an email and password first. Once someone is logged in, you are able to use pins to switch users. You will need to enable pin switching on the web version of Timely before you can use PIN switching on your iOS device.
How to lock your Timely account
If you're going to walk away from the computer, it's best to get into the habit of locking Timely before you walk away. To lock Timely, click the lock icon in the top right hand corner. If you do not lock Timely manually, it will automatically lock after the set time. You can also manually lock Timely by going to the settings tab and clicking the lock icon.
How to log in to Timely with a PIN
When Timely is locked, you will see a lock screen. Enter your PIN to login. You will be returned to the Timely calendar. A staff member can be sent their PIN number via email if they have forgotten it by clicking the Forgotten pin? link on the PIN pad. They are prompted with an email field.
If the staff member enters the pin number incorrectly 6 times they are redirected to the login screen, where a staff member with login access can access Timely. Additionally, the business owner can inform the staff of their pin number by viewing it on the staff member's staff access page.
