When adding a booking to the calendar, you have the option to set an initial booking status. This will affect how that appointment is treated when it comes to reminders and notifications. There are default statuses available, however, you can create custom statuses for your appointments. In this article you will learn how to create custom booking statuses. Step-by-step instructions

Head to setup from the main menu in your Timely account dashboard, and click on xcalendar settings

Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the appointment statuses section.

To add a new status click the plus [+] button. Add the new status in the new blank field at the bottom of the list.

When you are ready, click save to apply your changes.
How to check the new status has been added

Go to the calendar and click on the appointment, then click edit.

When the appointment is confirmed, you will see the different statuses, including the newly added status.
