When adding a booking to the calendar, you have the option to set an initial booking status. This will affect how that appointment is treated when it comes to reminders and notifications. When you have set a booking status for an appointment, you are able to adjust this afterwards if you need. In this guide, you will learn how to update appointment statuses. How to update an appointment status
How to change the status to confirmed

Click on the unconfirmed appointment. You can see it's unconfirmed as the whole appointment box has diagonal stripes.

Select edit, and change the status to confirmed. After confirming the appointment, the diagonal stripes disappear.
How to change the status to arrived

Click on the client's appointment and select edit, and from the dropdown menu next to the tick icon, change the status to arrived.

Click save. The appointment status now displays an icon showing the client has arrived and the colour on the left hand side now has diagonal stripes.
How to change the status to started

Click the appointment, and from the dropdown menu next to the tick icon, change the status to started.

When you are ready, click save to apply your changes.
How to change the status of the booking to completed

When the appointment is complete, click the appointment and click edit.

From the dropdown menu next to the tick icon, change the status to completed.

Click save. The completed appointment is greyed out and the icon in the top right corner is marked with a tick icon.

How to change the status to did not show
When a client does not arrive for their appointment, it is a good idea to keep a record of it by updating their status. That way you know which clients are reliable and which ones are more likely to not turn up.

Click the appointment, and then edit.

From the dropdown menu next to the tick icon, change the status to did not show.
3 When you are ready, click save to apply your changes. The appointment is marked with a thumbs down icon in the top right hand corner.
