Finish up with your old provider
1 Give notice to your current payment terminal provider. Check your contract to see what your cancellation period is.
2 Export and save data from your previous terminal. When switching systems, it's vital to keep a record of any transactions and sales reports for your bookkeeping and account reconciliation.
3 Complete a final cash up and reconciliation with your old terminal. You may need to run off two settlements for your final month.
4 Cancel your subscriptions. If you have any regular fee payments associated with your previous terminal, make sure you cancel these.
5 Update any documents or guides you have on salon processes.
Customise your payments
1 Review your TimelPay payout schedule from your settings. Next working day payouts will now be available and you can select your payout frequency – daily, weekly or monthly
2 Let us know if you'd like AfterPay set up. Fill out this form to let us know, along with your AfterPay merchant ID.
Training for you and your staff
Book some time with yourself to practice, or train with your team. Before or after salon hours is a good idea. Here's some important things to cover:
