Invoicing is an important part of running a business, whether this occurs in advance of an appointment to ensure revenue protection or for your client to pay later on when they are out of the salon. With Timely, you can create invoices for appointments, classes, products and packages. Once an invoice is raised in Timely, then a full or partial payment can be applied. In this article, you will learn how to apply payments to unpaid invoices via the Timely iOS app.

How to apply payments to unpaid invoices via the Timely iOS app

To start, click on the appointment in the calendar.

Then on the clients name, and on the page that appears scroll down to the unpaid sales section and you will see any invoices with unpaid amounts. When you click on this, you will have the options to open sale or request online payment.

In this case you will want to click open sale to continue with the payment process.

From here, click checkout > select your payment type > tap to complete > and then done. Your sale is now completed!
