With Timely, once you have set up your services, staff members, and locations; your clients will be able to book online effortlessly. You may have instances where you need to capture additional information outside of standard personal details, that pertains to the service being performed. With Timely, this is possible using optional booking questions. In this article you will learn how to set up optional online booking questions.
Step-by-step instructions

Head to setup from the main menu in your Timely account dashboard, and click on services.

Click edit next to the service you would like to add a question to.

Scroll down to the optional booking question section and click the add a booking question link.

Add a question or requirement that asks your customers for the information you are looking for Then choose when you would like the customer to be asked the question using the require answer? drop down.

When you are ready, click save to apply your changes.
Timely note: the setting only determines whether the question is required to be answered, once added it will always be displayed in both online booking and on the calendar when booking.
