How to add an online booking QR code

Using a QR Code (Quick Response Code) is a great way of getting your clients to your online booking page effortlessly. These function as a 2D, machine-readable barcode that encodes data - such as URLs, contact information etc. When a smartphone camera scans this pattern, it decodes information and translates it into digital action, such as opening your website or Client Login. In this article, you will learn how to use the online booking QR Code in your business.

Step One

To get started, you will need to find a QR generator such as these:

 

 

Step Two

Next you will need your online booking link. To get this:

1 Head to setup from the main menu in your Timely account dashboard, and click on booking buttons.

 

2 Here you can customise your booking link or have all your bookings show. For more information, see our help guide How to add a booking link.

 

 

3 Next click the book now link to get your booking link. Once you have this, copy and paste your link in to your QR Code Generator, this will generate your QR Code.

 

4 You can usually from chose different designs, code appearances etc depending on which QR Code generator you are using. Once you are done click create QR Code and then download.
