When a client wants to make a new booking, you can easily book it for them straight from the calendar.
Step-by-step instructions
1 Go to your calendar view in Timely and click on the time slot you want to make the appointment.
2 Click Add appointment.
3 Fill in your client's details in the field labelled 'First and last name'.
If the client is already saved in Timely, you can start typing their name and you'll see some possible matches. Click the right one and all their details will fill automatically.
If their details aren't saved, you can fill each in their details manually, and they'll be automatically assigned as a 'New customer'.
4 Select the service your client wants. You can add more than one service to the booking.
5 Review everything is correct in the Details tab.
6 Click Save.
7 Appointment Booked.
The appointment is booked and it's now in your calendar. You'll notice the appointment block has diagonal lines. This shows you the appointment is still 'pencilled in'. Learn how to confirm the appointment here.
Add more details to the booking
1 Add their address information under the Address tab.
2 Add Notes to the booking. This is a great opportunity to put something important to remember for this client.
