When your client wants to cancel an appointment with your business, you are able to do this right rom the Timely calendar with ease. In this article, you will learn how to cancel a client's appointment from the calendar.
Timely note: when a deposit is attached, canceling the appointment will not automatically refund this. You will need to do this manually, learn how to do this in our help guide How to refund a deposit.
Step-by-step instructions

Click on appointment, followed by the three dots.

Then choose cancel appointment, including selecting the cancellation reason.

When you are ready, click cancel appointment again to confirm it. The appointment is no longer in your calendar. The cancellation is saved on your client's profile so you can keep a record of their appointments.
Timely note: make sure you've set up your client communications so they will receive a message that the booking has been cancelled.
