When your client wants to make a new booking with your business, you can easily arrange this for them right from your Timely calendar; creating a seamless experience for both you and your client. In this article, you will learn how to reschedule an appointment right from your Timely calendar.
Timely notes:
- It is possible to drag the appointment to a new time slot if you are moving it within the same day or week. This is particularly handy when you need to make quick changes!
- When moving an appointment to a different date within the same location, the reschedule function will work, by clicking reschedule and then select a new time slot on the new date. However, if you click reschedule and then switch to a different location before selecting a time slot, the rescheduling will not work.
Step-by-step instructions

Click on the appointment you want to change. This will open the appointment details. Then click on the reschedule button. A prompt will appear at the top of the screen, guiding you to choose a new time for the appointment.

Click the date at the top of the calendar to open a calendar and then select the date. You can jump forward weeks, choose a specific date, or use the arrow buttons to go between days. This will shift the calendar view to the next day.

Click on the new time for the appointment and it will move automatically to the spot chosen.
