When your client wants to make a new booking with your business, you can easily arrange this for them right from your Timely calendar; creating a seamless experience for both you and your client. In this article, you will learn how to add an appointment in your calendar.
Step-by-step instructions

Start by going to your calendar view in Timely and click on the time slot you want to make the appointment. Then click add appointment.

Fill in your client's details in the field labelled first and last name.
- If the client is already saved in Timely, you can start typing their name and you'll see some possible matches. Click the right one and all their details will fill automatically.
- If their details aren't saved, you can fill each in their details manually, and they'll be automatically assigned as a new client.

Select the service your client wants. You can add more than one service to the booking.

Review everything is correct in the details tab.

When you are ready, click save and your booking will be added.
Timely note: the appointment is booked and it's now in your calendar. You will also notice the appointment block has diagonal lines. This shows you the appointment is still pencilled in. You can learn more about How to manage booking statuses in our help guide.
How to add additional details to a booking

Add their address information under the address tab.

If you need to, you can add notes that relate to this booking. This will help you remember anything important and make the service really personal.
