Our activity log provides you with a log of activities performed by your staff members in Timely. We capture activity and present it to you as a time-stamped log, to make it simple to rectify mistakes or other issues that might crop up. You may like to have a conversation with your staff about the activity log, to make sure they are informed that their activity in Timely will be tracked.
Important note: this feature is only available to businesses on our Elevate and Innovate plans. Should you wish to upgrade your plan, you can find more information in our help guide How to change your Timely plan.
How to view the activity log

Head to account > staff access, and click the view activity button next to a staff member.

Once you're on the activity log page, choose how you would like it to be filtered. You can filter by:
- Account: you can only choose one staff member/administrator at a time
- Date: currently just one day at a time
- Area: customers, sales, bookings

Action: create, edit, delete

When you're ready, click view to see the activity that matches your selected filters. When viewing a staff member's activity, you can interact with specific things, such as customer edits, appointments added etc.
Timely notes:
- Information is not updated immediately: the activity log will update roughly every 1.5 hours. This means that you won't be able to view an activity directly after it has occurred. We'd love to hear your feedback around how often the log should refresh!
- The activity log is only viewable to account owners: as this feature is accessed from the account > staff access page, it's currently only visible to account owners.
