How to add your Timely calendar to your Apple iCloud calendar

Managing appointments has never been so easy. In this article, you will learn how to add your Timely calendar to your Apple iCloud calendar, and have these sync together seamlessly. For more information on the calendar feature, see our help guide Introduction: Timely calendar.

 

 

Timely note: 

To make a subscription push to other devices, you must first subscribe to the calendar on your Mac. If you subscribe to the calendar on your iOS device, iCloud won't push it to your other devices. You also cannot set up this connection from icloud.com. Read more from Apple here.

 

 

Step-by-step instructions

 

1 To start, before your can connect your Timely account with your Apple calendar, you will need to follow the steps in our help guide How to share your Timely calendar with your personal calendar.

 

2 Once you have done this, to add a new calendar subscription in Apple Calendar, open the calendar app and choose file > new calendar subscription (Mac) or click calendars > add calendar > add subscription calendar (iOS).

 

3 Then paste the calendar's web address (the URL you pasted earlier from Timely). Then choose iCloud to sync across devices, adjust the settings, and click subscribe.

 

  • If you want your calendar to be on all your Apple devices, select iCloud under location.
  • If you only want the calendar available on that computer, choose on this mac.

 

4 You can change the auto-refresh to every 15 minutes for the best sync speeds. Then click OK to complete the process. It may take a few seconds, but the calendar will be added to your Apple Calendar. You should also see it on your Apple devices if you selected iCloud under location.
