Add your Timely calendar to your iPhone or iPad

Sure you've got a business, but you've got a life too! Balancing everything can be hard, so it's easier when it's all in the one place. Having your Timely appointments sync to your iPhone or iPad calendars is super handy and this guide will show you how. 

Make sure you follow the instructions in this help article to get your calendar URL.

1. Add to a device running iOS 10 (or earlier)
2. Add to a device running iOS 11

Add a calendar subscription to an iOS 10 device

To add the Timely shared calendar to your calendar you'll need to:

1. Head to Settings on your iPhone/iPad.
2. Scroll to Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
   
3. Under Accounts go to Add Account.
   
4. Choose Other:
   
5. Choose Add Subscribed Calendar.
   
6. Enter the Timely calendar URL you copied earlier.
7. Click Next (it will take a moment for the calendar to verify).
8. Once verified, your device will ask for further information (e.g., Username, Password). Leave these blank and turn off SSL (see below).
   
9. Hit Next again and then Save.
10. Go back to your home screen and go into your calendar. Your subscribed calendar should now appear. If it doesn't, click Calendars and choose Timely from the list.

Add a calendar subscription to an iOS 11 device

1. Head to Settings on your iPhone/iPad.
2. Scroll to Accounts & Passwords.
3. Under Accounts tap on Add Account: 
4. Choose Other from the options:
5. Choose Add Subscribed Calendar: 
6. Enter the Timely calendar URL you copied earlier.
7. Click Next (it will take a moment for the calendar to verify).
8. Once verified, your device will ask for further information (e.g., Username, Password), leave these blank. 
9. Toggle the Turn off SSL option (see below):
   
10. Hit Next again and then Save.
11. Go back to your home screen and go into your calendar. Your subscribed calendar should now appear. 
12. If it doesn't, click Calendars and choose Timely from the list.
