Once you've created a staff member in Timely, the next essential step is to assign their default working days and hours. This availability information is important as Timely combines it with your roster to suggest the best possible appointment times when clients book online.
Properly setting staff availability helps you maximise bookings, reduce scheduling conflicts, and provide a seamless experience for both your team and clients. In this article, you will learn how to set staff working hours and availability.
How to set staff working hours and availability

Head to setup from the main menu in your Timely account dashboard, and click staff from the dropdown list.

For the staff member you want to change, click edit next to their name.

Scroll down to normal working hours, and choose the location where you want the changes to be made.

To make a day bookable, click the circle next to that day of the week.

Set the hours for that day, and if you need to add a break, click the [+] symbol next to break.

Give the break a name and set the start and end times, then when you are ready, click save to apply your changes.
