With Timely, you can add a reference number to individual staff members, which are then displayed on invoices. This is great if you are required to include any of these details, such as the examples below. In this guide, you will learn how to add a staff reference number.

How to add a reference number
You can add a reference number (or multiple) to each staff member's profile individually. It is possible to add multiple numbers/number types for each staff member. However, only one number/type can be displayed on an invoice at a time. You can add two numbers by adding one in the reference number type field and the other in the reference number field.
Step-by-step instructions

Head to setup from the main menu in your Timely account dashboard, and click on staff, and click edit next to the staff members name.

Scroll down to the personal information section.

Enter the title for the reference in the reference number type, and then type the number in the reference number field.

Repeat for any other numbers you'd like to add. Use the plus [+] button to add more numbers.

When you are ready, click save to apply your changes.
