Timely doesn't have a feature for managing memberships for your clients, however we do have two workarounds which may work for your business.
Using packages
Using our packages feature is great if you have memberships for specific services, for example you might offer:
5 x Blow Dry for £100 which would be £20 per blow dry service
- To get started go to Setup > Packages
- Then click Create package template
- Add your new package information and hit save
- Now you can sell your package to your client
You will need to do this as often as your client needs for their membership
Using credits
If you were offering weekly payments to your clients who can then use this for any service you can sell a credit weekly to each membership client. This means they can redeem this accumulating monetary value against their appointments when they visit
- To get started click the sales tab in the top left hand corner
- Once at the checkout search for your client
- Then click the credits tab and add the credit to your clients sale
- Now you can sell the credit to your client
You will need to do this as often as your client pays for their membership, this might be weekly, monthly etc.
Manging payments
To manage the payment side of your memberships you have the following options:
- Send the client an online payment link from checkout at the time of sale. This guide will help you send a payment request link: How to request online payment for an invoice
- Charge a saved card on your clients account using our cardless checkout with TimelyPay (just remember to get written and signed consent for this first)
- Manage the payment externally outside of timely and log it (in timely) using a custom payment type. This guide will show you how to add payment types: How to create your own payment types
