As part of setting up your Timely account, one of the first things to do is set up a location (or multiple) for your business. Locations can be either fixed (clients come to you), or mobile (you go to your clients), and you can have as many locations as your business needs. In this article, you will learn how to set up your locations operating hours. For information on setting up locations, see our help guide How to add a new location.
Important note: for accuracy, where possible, choose a suggested address from the address picker when setting up your locations, rather than typing manually. Your business address informs many areas of running your business with Timely, and an accurate one will help prevent operational issues down the line.
How to set your locations operating hours
Your locations will automatically show up on your Timely mini-website, along with their opening hours and a Google map - showing your clients how to get there. By default, the location will be saved with the opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm. You can change these to reflect your actual business hours by following the steps below:
1 Edit your new location by heading to setup > locations and clicking the edit button.

3 For each day, adjust the start and end times accordingly.
4 Click save to apply your changes.
Timely note: while you can set hours for a location, these are mostly for display on the mini website. To control your availability/when customers can book in online, you will need to adjust the roster or normal working hours for working staff.
