Deposits aren't only for online bookings. While you're making the appointment for your client, you can add a deposit at the same time.
Step-by-step instructions
1 Click the time you want to make the appointment and select Add appointment.
2 Add the client's name and pick the service they want to book.
3 At the bottom right of the pop-up screen click Add a deposit.
4 Type in the amount of the deposit.
5 Add a reason for the deposit.
6 Click Save and pay.
7 Take the payment as you usually would.
8 Success! The deposit is paid. Click Done.
The booking is now in your calendar. You'll see a deposit icon in the top right hand corner to show the deposit has been paid.
Good to know
If your client is not in person and has requested the appointment over the phone or a message, you can send them a link to pay the deposit. The deposit can only be redeemed for an appointment once it has been fully paid.
