If one of your services needs a different deposit amount, you can change it for just that service. You can choose no deposit, a percentage, a fixed amount or the full amount. It all depends on the service and what you think is right for your clients.
If you're on the Build plan, you can only take online deposits if you use TimelyPay.
You can only set up deposits for specific services if you have set up online payments.
Step-by-step instructions
1 Go to Setup and click Services.
2 Choose the services category.
3 Click Edit for the service you want to update.
4 Scroll down to the online payments section. You'll only see this option if you have set up online payments. You can set them up here.
5 Select 'Use a different payment policy for this service:'.
6 Select the payment policy for this service. You can pick from no online payment, a percentage amount, a fixed amount, or full payment.
7 Click Save.
