This article covers how to take payments with Tap to Pay.
Step-by-step Instructions
1 Open your calendar and find your client or the appointment for the service.
2 Tap the calendar slot for your selected client or service.
3 Select Checkout to move to the sales page.
5 On the next screen, look for and tap Tap to Pay on iPhone.
6 Allow your client to add a tip, or skip this step if they choose.
7 Hold the client’s card over your iPhone to initiate payment. The client taps their card to complete the transaction.
8 Once the payment is accepted, tap Done.
9 Review the sale completion screen containing all transaction details. Tap Done one more time to finish.
You're all set! Tap to Pay makes receiving payments easy and secure for both you and your clients.
PIN Entry
For transactions requiring a PIN, a secure PIN entry screen will automatically appear. The customer can enter their PIN to confirm the payment.
Accessibility Options: Tap to Pay on iPhone includes accessibility features for PIN entry. Select "Accessibility Options" to have instructions read out through the iPhone speaker.
