With Tap to Pay on iPhone in the Timely iOS app, you can accept contactless payments in-salon using just your iPhone XS or newer — no extra hardware or terminals needed! It is a simple, secure, and private way to get paid. In this article, you will learn how to activate Tap to Pay on your iPhone during a payment, without disrupting the client experience. Important note: Tap to Pay on iPhone is currently available in Australia, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, the UK, and the US.

Timely note: you can accept payments from physical debit and credit cards, Apple & Google Pay, and other digital wallets. These payments all go directly through the Timely app, this means the transaction fees are the same as using a TimelyPay terminal. 1 To activate Tap to Pay on iPhone during a payment, click on sales in the middle of the bottom tab. Here you will see the sale, and can click checkout.

2 If you haven't set up Tap to Pay already, you'll see a button prompting you to do this; then click activate Tap to Pay, and you are done!
