How to set up Tap to Pay for iPhones

With Tap to Pay on iPhone in the Timely iOS app, you can accept contactless payments in-salon using just your iPhone XS or newer — no extra hardware or terminals needed! Important note: Tap to Pay on iPhone is currently available in Australia, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, the UK, and the US.

 

 

Timely note: you can accept payments from physical debit and credit cards, Apple & Google Pay, and other digital wallets. These payments all go directly through the Timely app, this means the transaction fees are the same as using a TimelyPay terminal. How to set up Tap to Pay for iPhones

1 To activate tap to pay on iPhone for the first time, go to your Timely app.

 

2 Click more on your bottom right corner with the three dots. You will then see settings and messages, select settings.

 

3 Then select the Tap to Pay on iPhone not activated option, this will take you to the activation screen.

 

4 Next, click activate Tap to Pay on iPhone to begin the setup. You will see a loading screen, this may take a moment. Once it's done, you're all set!
