That's why we offer Two-factor authentication (2FA), a powerful security feature designed to keep your account safe. With 2FA enabled, even if someone knew your password, they couldn't access your Timely account without that second verification step.
As the business owner, you can also set up 2FA for your staff members. This article will show your staff how to set up 2FA.
Set up is only available in the Timely Web App (Desktop).
This feature is not available in Singapore.
Step by step instructions
To set up 2FA as a staff member, you'll the business to have enabled 2FA on your Timely account. You'll then have two weeks to complete your 2FA setup.
1Log in with your email and password to prompt authentication

2Enter your mobile number.

3Select 'Send Code'

4You'll receive a text message with a six digit code. Enter the code and click 'Verify'. If you have trouble receiving the code, you can select 'Send new code' to try again. Each code is valid for 10 mins.

Your 2FA has now been verified and set up and you can continue to use Timely.
Note: If PIN switching is enabled, staff members will be able to pin switch once you have logged in.
