With Timely, gift vouchers can be bought online, sent by email, or printed out and given in person. You have control over the gift voucher process, from creation to redemption. So you can decide if they can be purchased online, voided, or if they expire. You can also determine gift voucher terms and conditions, allowing you to customise what information is included on the printed voucher.
You can update the expiry date of a gift voucher that has already been sold to a client, all you need is the voucher number or the client's name to make changes. If you do not wish to change the expiry of a gift card, you can instead choose to void it. In this article, you will learn how to void gift vouchers. - If the gift voucher is unpaid then you will need to click save and pay on the voucher before you can void the voucher. When the voucher is voided, both the voucher and the associated invoice will be removed.
- If the gift voucher has already been redeemed, or the original sale of the invoice has been included in a past cash up, then the voucher and associated invoice can't be deleted.
