How to redeem a promotion code from the calendar

Promotions (often referred to as promo codes) are a great way to encourage bookings, from both new and existing client's. They support your business in generating revenue, and are a way to celebrate birthdays, recognise loyalty, and market service offerings. In this guide, you will learn how to redeem a promotion code from the calendar.

Timely note: applying a promotion code is only possible from the Timely desktop (web) application by clients when booking online or by staff from the calendar or at checkout. Promo codes are not able to be applied in iOS yet, but existing promotional codes applied in the web application to a booking may be checked out from the iOS application.

1 Start by opening an existing appointment from the calendar or select add appointment to create a new appointment. Then you can add services as required.

2 Once you have done this, select add promo code to apply a promotional discount. A list will appear to select from one of the currently active promo codes in your business.

3 Select a code from one of the currently active promo codes. The code is successfully applied to the applicable services in the booking if it meets the required rules.

4 If the promo code does not meet the available rules, a banner will inform you of why this is. The code will however be applied in case you wish to change the service to meet the rules to redeem it.

5 When you are ready to process your customers payment click checkout to bring up the payment screen.
