How to redeem a promotion code from the checkout

Promotions (often referred to as promo codes) are a great way to encourage bookings, from both new and existing client's. They support your business in generating revenue, and are a way to celebrate birthdays, recognise loyalty, and market service offerings. In this guide, you will learn how to redeem a promotion code from the checkout.

Timely note: applying a promotion code is only possible from the Timely desktop (web) application by clients when booking online or by staff from the calendar or at checkout. Promo codes are not able to be applied in iOS yet, but existing promotional codes applied in the web application to a booking may be checked out from the iOS application.

1 Start by opening the appointment from the calendar and click checkout.

2 Add the services, appointments, vouchers or products to the sale. You can search, scan or browse, then click the item to add it to the sale.

3 Select add promo code to apply a promotional discount, then choose the code from one of the currently active promo codes. The promo code is successfully applied to the applicable services in the booking if it meets the required rules.

4 When you are ready to process your customers payment click checkout to bring up the payment page. Confirm the amount in payment amount box, then select the payment type to make a payment.

5 When you are ready, click tap to complete to finalise the sale.
